Idou Malabata Beach and SPA

Everything and everyone, From the moment I contacted the hotel, Mehdi at the reception was very helpful and welcoming. The same thing is true for the rest of the staff, especially Sara from the housekeeping team and the team at the restaurant. The view from my room and from the coffee shop was stunning, maybe the best view ever. Breakfast was amazing, loads of variety, fresh, with amazing view. The location is super. The quality of the furniture and the amenities is great. Highly recommended, and I will definitely stay again if come to Tangier

Had a lovely stay at Idou Malabata with my partner for a few days of winter holiday and to catch some Moroccan sun. The staff was very pleasant, attentive and helpful. Everyone speaks very good English and is eager to give their guests the best experience possible. If anything went not quite as hoped the staff was very helpful and resolved any issues immediately. Things can always go wrong but it’s down to how they are handled and rectified and this was done very well at Idou Malabata. We enjoyed the gym, the spa and the beautiful view from our family room which we were upgraded to upon arrival (complimentary) just to make our stay more special. The food in the restaurant was very good. The menu on that day had mostly fish dishes which wasn’t ideal for someone who doesn’t like fish or seafood. I recommend checking the menu of the day before making a reservation. The cocktails were very well crafted and tasty. Unfortunately it was too cold to swim so we did not get to enjoy the pools but they looked lovely and very inviting on hot days. Can whole heartedly recommend the hotel, restaurant and bar and would definitely stay again.

I had an absolutely fantastic stay at this hotel and cannot recommend it highly enough! From the moment I arrived, the warmth and professionalism of the staff made me feel completely at home. A special mention must go to Mohammed at the reception, who greeted me with a genuine smile and went above and beyond to ensure my check-in was smooth and that I ha I needed throughout my stay. His attention to detail and friendly attitude truly set the tone for an exceptional experience. The cleanliness of the hotel was impeccable—every area, from the lobby to the rooms, was spotless and clearly well-maintained. It’s evident that high standards are a priority here. The facilities were top-notch as well, offering everything needed for both comfort and convenience. Whether it was the relaxing common areas or the amenities provided in the room, everything exceeded my expectations. One of the highlights of my stay was the breakfast—delicious, varied, and beautifully presented. The team at the restaurant deserves immense praise. Chef Mustapha created dishes that were both flavorful and fresh, showing great passion for his craft. Yasmine and Yussuf were incredibly kind, attentive, and always ready with a smile. Their service made each morning a real pleasure. This hotel doesn’t just provide a place to sleep—it creates a welcoming atmosphere where guests truly feel valued. I’m already looking forward to my next visit!

Breakfast was delicious with a variety of food, hot and cold. The food in the Morroccon restaurant was also really nice. The separation between the kids and adult section was good. The rooms were a decent size with a beautiful view of the sea (booked specifically sea view room), and very large balcony. The hotel was lovely and clean. Staff were very friendly and kind, Nasim was our favourite! He was super accommodating, funny, and friendly.

The hotel is clean and modern. The facilities are solid, well set up for families and groups of friends. There’s plenty of space to spend time together. The pool is social with a live DJ and drinks. The hammam treatment in the spa was amazing – worth making time for.
